Job summary

Capgemini in Charlotte, NC is seeking a role focused on defining and delivering developer platform capabilities. You will own the architecture design and implementation of experiences that help teams onboard, build, deploy and operate applications efficiently.

You will design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices in Python, build scalable backend services, and define CI/CD automation and platform services consumption.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect developer workflows, self service capabilities and platform integration patterns
• Design, develop, test and maintain robust RESTful APIs and microservices using Python
• Build scalable backend services using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask or Django REST Framework
• Define how developers consume CICD automation infrastructure and platform services
• Partner with engineering and platform teams to translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions
• Drive end to end delivery from architecture and design through implementation and adoption
• Develop reference architectures, reusable patterns, APIs and automation frameworks
• Guide engineering teams on best practices and promote platform adoption across the organization
• Create technical documentation and conduct enablement sessions, workshops and office hours

About The Role

Experience to define and deliver how engineering teams consume platform capabilities through intuitive self service developer workflows.
