Job summary

Origami Risk seeks a hands‑on DevOps Manager, Platform to lead the developer platform and delivery automation that powers daily engineering outcomes. You will coach engineers, drive IaC excellence, and own end‑to‑end onboarding and production deployments in AWS.

You will shape platform engineering culture, raise delivery reliability, and partner with Release, SRE, and Cloud Infra to maintain a fast, self‑service path to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years in DevOps, platform, or cloud infrastructure with 2+ years in management.
• Proven leadership in hiring, coaching, performance management, and building high‑performance teams.
• Deep hands-on AWS experience for production delivery at scale.
• Proficiency with Terraform and IaC quality standards.
• Strong CI/CD, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps experience.
• Experience with Docker, EKS, API Gateway, and service connectivity patterns.
• Familiarity with observability tools and incident management.
• Experience driving AI tool adoption within DevOps or platform teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps Engineers delivering the developer platform and automation
• Coach engineers, conduct reviews, and create growth paths
• Own end‑to‑end service onboarding and production deployment pipelines
• Oversee IaC quality, templates, and safety defaults across teams
• Drive cost efficiency, capacity planning, and vendor relations
• Collaborate with Release, SRE, and Cloud Infra to align on strategy
• Champion AI‑augmented operations and incident analysis
