Job summary

Origami Risk in the United States is seeking an Engineering Systems Engineer who will serve as the hands-on operator at the center of how our tools, platforms, and standards work daily. You will own administration, configuration, governance, and continuous improvement of systems the engineers depend on—from Azure DevOps pipelines to feature flag operations and database migration standards.

You will leverage AI to accelerate platform analysis, generate automation scripts, and surface insights

Qualifications

Hands-on administration experience with DevOps tools and platforms.
Strong automation scripting and platform governance capabilities.
Ability to identify configuration drift and drive adoption improvements.

Responsibilities

Owns day-to-day administration of Azure DevOps across the Engineering organization with proper hygiene.
Manages Azure DevOps user provisioning, permission models, and access reviews — least-privilege, audited and documented.
Monitors platform health, usage patterns and adoption metrics to prevent friction.
Escalation point for Azure DevOps configuration issues and coordinates with Microsoft support when needed.
Leverages AI tools to accelerate platform analysis, automation scripting, and documentation.
Administers LaunchDarkly governance across engineering projects, environments, and roles.
Oversees Flyway administration and migration standards and migration health.
Provisions Cursor and AI tooling, manages licensing and renewal tracking.
