Job summary

Gilead in Raleigh, NC seeks a Platform Delivery Lead to guide the technical development and delivery of Data and AI platform products. You will bridge platform consumers with engineering execution, leading teams and external partners to deliver reliable, scalable services from concept to production.

Responsibilities include setting product roadmaps, SLAs, and adoption metrics, and driving AI service enablement across the platform with a focus on governance, security, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in data or computer science.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in data/AI delivery.
• Significant experience leading technical delivery in an agile environment (Agile/Scrum).
• Hands-on, full-stack experience with platform operations and continuous improvement.
• Strong AWS data services and Databricks expertise; multi-tenant platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of Data and AI platform products and capabilities from ideation to production.
• Define roadmaps, SLAs, and platform adoption metrics with a product-centric approach.
• Oversee scalable, reusable platform capabilities on AWS and Databricks as self-service products.
• Drive AI services enablement, including model access, evaluation, and orchestration.
• Lead hybrid delivery teams of platform and data/AI engineers; coordinate external partners.
• Manage sprint planning, backlogs, and release schedules; drive continuous improvement.
