Job summary

Gilead Sciences Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Data/AI Solution Architect to lead design of data and AI solutions for US Commercial Digital Marketing. The role is based in Raleigh, NC with hybrid eligibility and reports to the Director, Data/AI, Commercial Digital.

You will partner with stakeholders, Owners, and platform teams to translate complex business needs into scalable data architectures, drive analytics, and ensure governance and security across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Significant experience designing data, analytics, and AI solutions.
• Proven depth in architecture and advanced analytics.
• Experience translating business needs into technical designs.

Responsibilities

• Determine end-to-end Data/AI solution architecture for digital marketing use cases.
• Design data flows, modeling approaches, and analytics outputs on AWS & Databricks.
• Evaluate build vs. buy options and align with enterprise standards.
• Develop solution blueprints and lifecycle maps for data delivery and insight generation.
• Define data quality, lineage, governance, and metadata requirements.
