Job summary

Allstate is seeking an experienced Platform Consultant to bridge business requirements with engineering execution across Azure-based platforms. You will work on API integrations, cloud migrations, and DevOps readiness, delivering secure and scalable solutions.

In this role, you will partner with Product, Engineering, Security, and Infrastructure teams, perform hands-on testing, and create documentation to inform stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years progressive experience.
• Hands-on API + integration experience.
• Azure/cloud experience.
• Working knowledge of DevOps (CI/CD, repos, deployments).
• Ability to execute within platform delivery (not just architect).
• Strong communication + documentation skills.

• The team supports Allstate Health Solutions (AHS) technology platforms, enabling Product delivery, Platform modernization, Secure integrations and Operational stability across key platforms (Quotit, AgentCubed, AHIT, Medicare Benefits)

• This role sits at the intersection of platform engineering, solution design, and delivery execution, with a strong hands‑on focus (not purely advisory)

Key deliverables

• Active Azure cloud migration and platform modernization initiatives

• Growing complexity of API integrations and third‑party ecosystems

• Support strong delivery support (environments, pipelines, cutover readiness)

• Managing data migration + compliance (PHI/PII, HITRUST) concerns

• Highly cross‑functional role, partnering with Product, Engineering, Platform, Security/Compliance, Infrastructure, Vendors

Required Qualifications (Must-Have)

Preferred Experience (Nice-to-Have)

• Tech stack exposure:

  • .NET / C# / SQL / Cosmos DB

  • Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform, IaC tools

• Experience with:

  • API tools (Postman)

  • Cloud/data migration and cutover activities

  • Regulated environments (HIPAA, PHI/PII, HITRUST)

• Exposure to:

  • Microservices, event‑driven architectures

  • Vendor/platform integrations

  • Emerging areas (Azure AI, OpenAI integrations)

The base salary for this role ranges from $130,000 to $150,000 annually. Please disregard the broader compensation range listed below, as it reflects the full job family rather than this specific position.
