Job summary

Enode is hiring a Mid Level Backend Engineer to strengthen the EV connectivity platform. You’ll work on the Platform Connect layer, focusing on reliability, observability, and efficient integrations with EV chargers, vehicles, and OEM platforms.

This is a role driven by product needs and platform engineering principles. You’ll contribute to building new integrations and improving existing systems, with a TS/JS stack, and a strong emphasis on testing, automation, and monitoring to scale our

Qualifications

• Experience writing maintainable backend code.
• Experience with API integration work and platform services.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and reliability engineering.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and testing.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain API integrations with OEMs and energy partners.
• Improve connectivity platform reliability and observability.
• Develop automations and internal tools for monitoring and testing.
• Define SLAs, monitoring, and alerting practices to reduce manual work.
• Collaborate with engineers to align platform priorities with product needs.
