Job summary

Enode is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build the software layer that makes home energy devices work as one system. The Home Energy team owns Enode's integrations and APIs for batteries, solar inverters, HVAC, and smart meters, along with the home energy management (HEM) system and statistics that customers build on.

You'll build integrations with leading OEMs and help mature our API surface into the unified control layer for the home, at a moment when customer demand for battery and home

Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining backend services in production, API or integration-heavy systems.
• Ability to work with third-party APIs of varying maturity and scale complex integrations.
• Strong design for reliability, scalability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services that integrate batteries, solar, HVAC, and smart meters.
• Evolve home energy APIs to unify telemetry and controls for the HEM system.
• Collaborate with PMs and commercial teams to assess API feasibility and ship features.
• Improve observability and vendor performance across integrations.
• Turn AI learnings into reusable tools and processes for the team.
