Job summary

Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer, Platform to own backend APIs behind payments, subscriptions, and the public TTS API. You will improve reliability, drive cost reductions, and automate repetitive tasks to enable faster delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven backend experience in TS/Node
• Direct experience with GCP; working knowledge of AWS/Azure or similar
• Ability to delegate work and show tangible results
• Experience with AI-assisted workflows and automation is a plus

• Design, build, and own APIs behind payments, subscriptions, auth, and analytics
• Improve reliability and cost of existing services
• Validate changes with end-to-end checks and monitoring
