Job summary

Happy Returns LLC is seeking a Platform Software Engineer to build and operate backend services and data platforms powering our returns platform. This fully remote role is open to candidates anywhere in the US, including Georgia.

You will ship features using Go and Python, work with PostgreSQL, data pipelines, and collaborate with Product/Data teams, with strong emphasis on reliability, security, and developer experience.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience building backend APIs or services.
• Familiarity with databases and data storage technologies.
• Ability to ship clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
• Strong collaboration with stakeholders across the organization.
• Curiosity, adaptability and readiness to explore new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the successful implementation and delivery of new features and projects using languages such as Golang, Python, and PostgreSQL.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and tooling powering analytics, operational workflows, and product capabilities.
• Participate in architecture discussions and design reviews for scalability, reliability, and security.
