Job summary

Happy Returns LLC is seeking a Platform Software Engineer to build and operate backend services powering our data platform and internal tooling. You’ll design reliable APIs, data-access layers, and integrate services with Go, Python, and PostgreSQL.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Data, and other engineering teams, ship features end-to-end, and help improve performance, reliability, and developer experience. This fully remote role offers bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience building backend APIs or services.
• Familiarity with databases and data storage technologies.
• Ability to ship clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of delivering new features and projects using Golang, Python, and PostgreSQL.
• Build and maintain data pipelines powering analytics and workflows.
• Contribute to architecture discussions for scalable, reliable systems.
