Job summary

Equall is building the legal infrastructure for the private markets, delivering auditable outputs and scalable product features for due diligence and advisory work. We are seeking a backend engineer to own the platform that everything at Equall runs on, from infrastructure and CI/CD to security and observability, enabling rapid engineering velocity and secure multi-tenant operations.

You will shape deployment, security controls, and runtime isolation while collaborating with a world-class team

Qualifications

• Production Kubernetes experience.
• Comfort with AWS or GCP.
• Security-minded with isolation and attack surface awareness.
• Experience operating multi-tenant SaaS in production.
• Strong CI/CD opinions with evidence.
• Proficiency in Python / Go / Rust / Zig.
• Good system design judgment and a shipping bias.

Responsibilities

• Own CI/CD end-to-end pipelines and deployment practices.
• Operate cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and Kubernetes/Istio.
• Shape multi-tenant architecture and tenant isolation.
• Lead security posture including auth, secrets, and compliance tooling.
• Build observability stack on Datadog for fast debugging.
• Invest in developer experience and internal tooling to boost velocity.
