Job summary

Cortex Consultants LLC seeks a Platform/Systems Engineer to enable platform features, automate testing, and manage release operations across multiple form factors. The role blends hands-on system integration with scripting, CI/CD, and project coordination to align with business goals and quality standards.

Responsibilities include configuring environments, building automation, and mentoring junior staff, with travel as needed to support platform enablement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring and maintaining Linux and Windows environments
• Scripting in Python, Bash, and PowerShell for automation
• Familiarity with Git workflows and release management
• Hands-on CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins preferred) and SDLC knowledge

Responsibilities

• Configure and test workstation, client, and platform form factors for feature deployment and testing
• Set up Linux/Windows environments and remote access for validation workflows
• Develop automation scripts in Python, Bash, and PowerShell
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable release workflows
• Manage firmware/driver release packages, testing, packaging, and documentation
• Troubleshoot issues across hardware, firmware, and software boundaries with teams
• Apply OOP concepts to improve internal tools and processes
• Scope and manage new technical initiatives and prototypes
• Use Git for source control and release asset management
• Produce release notes and configuration documentation
• Mentor junior staff in test procedures and tooling
