Job summary

Lutron Electronics Co., Inc in Austin is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and operate the developer platform powering build, test, and release across software platforms that integrate embedded Linux devices, cloud services, and customer-facing apps.

You will deliver durable platform solutions, mentor engineers, and champion secure-by-design practices while applying emerging AI capabilities to improve pipeline reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/CE/SE.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 across all degrees.
• 5+ years in DevOps or platform engineering.
• Experience with scripting: Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with cloud platform automation.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate enterprise CI/CD systems (CloudBees/Jenkins) and improve platform reliability.
• Create reusable pipeline steps, test orchestration, and performance tuning.
• Develop Terraform modules and lifecycle management for backend/state strategy.
• Implement and maintain CasC for CI/CD and related services.
• Manage Artifactory lifecycle, release controls, and deployment workflows.
• Create API-based automation across Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.
