Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Platform/Software Engineer in Tampa, FL to support USCENTCOM J6 CITS program within Solutions Delivery. The role involves building, automating, and integrating across the enterprise to deliver automation-first solutions.

You will work with analysts, data engineers, and scientists to translate mission requirements into cloud-ready pipelines, apps, and integrations while adhering to DoW security standards and DoW environment constraints.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI eligible.
• 3+ years software development or automation engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• DoW 8140 baseline certification (e.g., Security+) required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy automations, integrations, and applications across the enterprise toolset—scripting, workflow automation, APIs, and low-code solutions.
• Work as a broad-scope developer across the mission stack—automation, application development, workflow integration, and data movement.
• Automate manual O&M processes so operations personnel can execute with less manual effort over time.
• Build and integrate solutions across platforms such as vSphere, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365/Power Platform, Graph API, and containerized environments (OpenShift/Docker/Kubernetes).
