Job summary

Mastercard's Platform Architecture internship in St. Louis offers hands-on experience shaping enterprise-scale architectures and documenting them with Visio.

You will work with cloud, on-premise infrastructure, and modern platform technologies while collaborating with global engineering teams. You’ll gain exposure to DMP-related systems, security considerations, and rapid learning in a high-impact environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree with expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Linux environments and container orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to enterprise-scale platform architecture.
• Learn infrastructure and data center design.
• Study application architecture and dependency mapping.
• Create technical diagrams and architecture documentation using Visio.
• Work with bare metal and modern platform technologies.
• Collaborate with global engineering and architecture teams.
