DXC Technology is seeking an Insurance Smart Apps Platform Architect to define and lead the architecture of Assure Smart Apps across the ServiceNow ecosystem and the broader DXC Assure Platform.

This high-impact leadership role sits at the intersection of insurance, ServiceNow, cloud, SaaS, APIs, automation, and AI, shaping scalable, secure, reusable solutions and collaborating with Product, Engineering, Delivery, and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture strategy for Assure Smart Apps and related insurance platform capabilities.
• Define scalable architectures spanning UX, workflow, orchestration, integrations, data, and core insurance systems.
• Establish reusable architecture patterns and standards for API-first, event-driven, cloud-native, and modular solutions.
• Design clear boundaries between ServiceNow, Assure Platform services, integration/orchestration layers, and enterprise applications.
• Architect secure integrations with policy, claims, billing, customer, document, and data platforms.
• Lead architecture reviews, technology decisions, and governance across multiple teams.
• Drive modernization while balancing innovation, performance, resilience, security, upgradeability, and operational excellence.
• Evaluate and apply AI, automation, analytics, and intelligent workflows where they create measurable business value.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to translate business strategy into practical technical solutions.
• Mentor architects and engineers and help establish strong architecture and engineering practices.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Insurance Smart Apps Platform Architect to define and lead the architecture of Assure™ Smart Apps across the ServiceNow ecosystem and the broader DXC Assure Platform.

This is a high-impact architecture leadership role at the intersection of insurance, ServiceNow, cloud, SaaS, APIs, automation, and AI. You will shape scalable, secure, reusable solutions and work closely with Product, Engineering, Delivery, and executive stakeholders to define the future of insurance technology.

Experience with ServiceNow governance, multi-instance environments, upgrades, release management, source control, and enterprise implementations is highly valued.

Insurance.

Strong understanding of modern insurance technology ecosystems, including:

• Policy administration
• Claims
• Document management
• Insurance data and analytics

Experience with

Guidewire, Duck Creek, Sapiens, Majesco, Insurity, Socotra, EIS, or similar insurance platforms is highly desirable.

Leadership

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence Product, Engineering, Operations, and executive leaders.
• Experience leading Architecture Review Boards, governance forums, or enterprise architecture initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor technical teams and build alignment across distributed organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) strongly preferred.
• ServiceNow CSA and CAD certifications preferred.
• Additional ServiceNow certifications such as ITSM, ITOM, or App Engine are a plus.
