Job summary

Radiology Partners is seeking a senior infrastructure leader to triage incidents and guide a team of engineers across servers, storage, networking, cloud, and platform services.

The role focuses on architecture, governance, automation, and driving best practices for a scalable hybrid environment. Candidates should have deep enterprise exposure and HIPAA/HITECH familiarity, with a track record of improving reliability and performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years supporting systems in a large-scale enterprise.
  • Healthcare environment knowledge and HIPAA/HITECH awareness.
  • Experience with server hardware, virtualization, public cloud, NAS/SAN, networking, backups, security.

Responsibilities

  • Lead triage and resolution of infrastructure incidents; ensure operational continuity.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to infrastructure engineers.
  • Architect and govern scalable hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure; automate and standardize.
  • Establish architecture standards, policies, and design principles; conduct reviews for compliance.
  • Monitor and optimize complex infrastructure with observability, capacity planning, and emerging tech.

POSITION SUMMARY:
  • Lead triage and resolution of infrastructure incidents, ensuring timely support and operational continuity across enterprise platforms.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to infrastructure engineers, driving best practices across servers, storage, networking, cloud, and platform services.
  • Architect, implement, and govern scalable hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions, including automation and platform standardization.
  • Establish and enforce infrastructure architecture standards, policies, and design principles, conducting reviews to ensure alignment and compliance.
  • Monitor, optimize, and proactively improve complex, mission-critical infrastructure through observability, alerting, capacity planning, and emerging technology adoption.
  • Partner with architects, business stakeholders, and vendors to evaluate technology solutions, support M&A due diligence, and deliver infrastructure capabilities that meet strategic business objectives.
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science degree and/or related field or equivalent combination of industry related professional experience and education.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience supporting systems in a large-scale, multi-user, multi-domain, multi-application, multi-server enterprise environment.
  • Preferably knowledge in a healthcare environment and understanding of compliance with government regulations such as HIPAA / HITECH Security Rules.
  • Working experience in infrastructure key technologies such as server hardware, virtualization, public cloud, NAS/SAN storage, LAN and WAN networking, backups, systems security, server technologies such as Windows and Unix/Linux-based operating systems.
  • Working experience in public cloud architecture and design as well as computing concepts particularly related to IaaS and PaaS approaches desired.
  • Networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DHCP, internal and external DNS. Industry certifications in specific discipline is highly desired or working toward such certification.

The salary range for this position is $120,000.00 - $140,000.00. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
