Job summary

GCH Tech is seeking a Software Architect to provide technical leadership for our Short Code Registry platform. You will define architecture, guide engineering standards, and deliver scalable software and analytics across cloud-native apps.

You will partner with product, business, and engineering stakeholders to modernize capabilities, enable data-driven insights, and ensure platform reliability and performance. This role pays $145,000 - $180,000 per year with variable pay potential.

Qualifications

• Experience designing web apps with React, TS, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience building APIs with Node.js/NestJS/Express.
• Proficient in PostgreSQL schema design and query optimization.
• Experience leading technical teams on production software.
• Experience with AWS services (RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, Cognito, QuickSight).

Responsibilities

• Define architecture and guide multi-tenant SaaS platform design.
• Lead scalable full-stack solutions using React, Next.js, TS, Node.js, NestJS.
• Architect APIs, integrations, and service patterns for secure solutions.
• Design PostgreSQL data models and performance tuning strategies.
• Establish cloud architecture standards across AWS services.
• Deliver embedded analytics using AWS QuickSight with row-level security.
• Drive architecture reviews and engineering standards for scalability and security.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to translate business needs into roadmaps.
• Champion Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor engineers across the software lifecycle.
