Avalore.ai is seeking a Platform Architect to own the core WDP infrastructure's technical roadmap, ensuring performance, scalability, and disaster recovery. You will drive cloud infrastructure evolution, containerization with Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to support diverse, growing solutions.

The role requires security clearance, cloud/certifications, and strong English communication. Located in Arlington, VA, it offers a challenging, high-impact environment with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• Must have SECRET Security Clearance.
• Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP certification (for Junior/Journeyman).
• SecurityX/CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, FITSP-O, or GFACT certification (for Senior).
• Active pursuit of multiple levels: Junior, Journeyman, Senior with Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Own the platform's technical roadmap focusing on performance, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Lead design and evolution of the WDP's cloud infrastructure and containerization strategy (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines and core platform services to support scalable, reliable outcomes.
• Ensure robustness and efficiency of the underlying platform foundation for diverse solutions.

Job description

The Platform Architect is the primary internal-facing architect, responsible for the technical integrity, scalability, and reliability of the core WDP infrastructure itself. This person will own the platform's technical roadmap, focusing on non-functional requirements such as performance, high availability, and disaster recovery. They will lead the design and evolution of the WDP's cloud infrastructure, containerization strategy (e.g., Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and core platform services. The Platform Architect ensures that the underlying foundation of the WDP is robust, efficient, and capable of supporting the diverse and growing number of solutions being built upon it.

Requirements

• SECRET Security Clearance Required
• Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP cerification (for Junior / Journeyman roles)
• SecurityX/CASP+,CCNP Security, CCSP,FITSP-O, or GFACT certification (for Senior role)
• We are actively seeking multiple levels:
  • Junior: 0 - 3 years of experience + Bachelor's Degree
  • Journeyman: 4 - 7 years of experience + Bachelor's Degree
  • Senior: 8+ years of experience + Bachelor's Degree
• Good communication skills, self-starter mindset
• Professional proficiency in English is required
• Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications

Work Environment

• Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
