Job summary

Avalore, LLC is seeking a Platform Architect to own the platform's technical roadmap while ensuring high availability, performance, and disaster recovery for the WDP infrastructure.

The role focuses on cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes containerization, and CI/CD pipelines, with opportunities at Junior, Journeyman, and Senior levels based on experience. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Secret Security Clearance required.
• Certifications: Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP for junior/journeyman roles.
• Senior role requires: Security certifications listed (as above).
• Three levels: Junior 0-3 years + Bachelor's, Journeyman 4-7 years + Bachelor's, Senior 8+ years + Bachelor's.
• Strong communication skills and professional proficiency in English.
• Authorized to work in the United States; Avalore does not sponsor visas.
• Ability to sit at a computer and frequent travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Own platform technical roadmap and non-functional requirements.
• Lead design and evolution of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Direct containerization strategy (Kubernetes) and core platform services.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and disaster recovery for WDP infrastructure.
• Collaborate with teams to maintain architectural integrity.
