Job summary

Avalore, LLC is seeking a Platform Architect to own the platform's technical roadmap while ensuring high availability, performance, and disaster recovery for the WDP infrastructure.

The role focuses on cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes containerization, and CI/CD pipelines, with opportunities at Junior, Journeyman, and Senior levels based on experience. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Secret Security Clearance required.
• Certifications: Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP for junior/journeyman roles.
• Senior role requires: Security certifications listed (as above).
• Three levels: Junior 0-3 years + Bachelor's, Journeyman 4-7 years + Bachelor's, Senior 8+ years + Bachelor's.
• Strong communication skills and professional proficiency in English.
• Authorized to work in the United States; Avalore does not sponsor visas.
• Ability to sit at a computer and frequent travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Own platform technical roadmap and non-functional requirements.

Job description

The Platform Architect is the primary internal-facing architect, responsible for the technical integrity, scalability, and reliability of the core WDP infrastructure itself. This person will own the platform's technical roadmap, focusing on non-functional requirements such as performance, high availability, and disaster recovery. They will lead the design and evolution of the WDP's cloud infrastructure, containerization strategy (e.g., Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and core platform services. The Platform Architect ensures that the underlying foundation of the WDP is robust, efficient, and capable of supporting the diverse and growing number of solutions being built upon it.

• SECRET Security Clearance Required
• Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP cerification (for Junior / Journeyman roles)
• SecurityX/CASP+,CCNP Security, CCSP,FITSP-O, or GFACT certification (for Senior role)
• We are actively seeking multiple levels:
  • Junior: 0 - 3 years of experience + Bachelor's Degree
  • Journeyman: 4 - 7 years of experience + Bachelor's Degree
  • Senior: 8+ years of experience + Bachelor's Degree
• Good communication skills, self-starter mindset.

• Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
