Avalore, LLC is seeking a Platform Architect to own the technical roadmap of the core WDP infrastructure, focusing on performance, high availability, and disaster recovery. You will lead cloud infrastructure evolution, containerization with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and core services to support growing solutions.

The role requires security clearance and strong English proficiency, with responsibilities spanning design, cross-team collaboration, and driving scalable, robust architecture.

The Platform Architect is the primary internal-facing architect, responsible for the technical integrity, scalability, and reliability of the core WDP infrastructure itself. This person will own the platform’s technical roadmap, focusing on non-functional requirements such as performance, high availability, and disaster recovery. They will lead the design and evolution of the WDP’s cloud infrastructure, containerization strategy (e.g., Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and core platform services. The Platform Architect ensures that the underlying foundation of the WDP is robust, efficient, and capable of supporting the diverse and growing number of solutions being built upon it.

• SECRET Security Clearance Required

• Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP cerification (for Junior / Journeyman roles)

• SecurityX/CASP+,CCNP Security, CCSP,FITSP-O, or GFACT certification (for Senior role)

• We are actively seeking multiple levels:

  • Junior: 0 - 3 years of experience + Bachelor’s Degree
  • Journeyman: 4 - 7 years of experience + Bachelor’s Degree
  • Senior: 8+ years of experience + Bachelor’s Degree

• Good communication skills, self-starter mindset.

• Professional proficiency in English is required.

• Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Avalore will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

Work Environment:

• Moderate noise (i.e.business office with computers,phoneand printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).

• Salary at Avalore is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combinaition of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
• Salary estimates for this job range from $107,000 - $220,000.
