Job summary

Datarails is hiring a Forward Deployed Financial Engineer to deliver AI transformation engagements for clients. You will work closely with customer teams to identify value from AI and build practical solutions that integrate with existing finance systems.

The Platform focus emphasizes deploying solutions inside customer environments, including integrations, hosting, and secure operations. You’ll bridge customers with R&D and Product to shape scalable capabilities and reusable components.

Qualifications

• Production experience in Python or TypeScript, with SQL and REST APIs.
• Experience integrating with business systems through their APIs and handling authentication.
• Ability to translate ambiguous constraints into clear, actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Own deployment and operation of customer solutions, including integrations and hosting.
• Build internal tooling, templates and reusable components to accelerate delivery.
• Develop customer-facing AI-powered solutions, workflows, and agents.
• Lead discovery sessions and translate customer needs into deployable designs.
• Manage projects end-to-end from recommendation to handoff and delivery.
