Job summary

Zone & Company Software Consulting LLC is a rapidly growing, ERP-native AI platform for financial operations, built to run within Oracle NetSuite. The Platform Product Engineer will bridge architecture with AI product innovation, delivering user-facing features while maintaining scalable, production-grade infrastructure.

Spearheading complex projects in a fully remote, global team, you will mentor engineers, drive robust validation, and keep up with evolving AI tech to accelerate product

Qualifications

• 6+ years of fintech software engineering with platform development or SaaS focus.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/AI/Data Science or equivalent.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL database experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and support production-grade platform infrastructure and AI product features.
• Decompose vague software requirements into staged execution plans.
• Establish automated validation for AI models and business logic.
• Translate technical debt and architectural tradeoffs into business consequences.
• Integrate AI/ML models with backend and frontend systems.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers; conduct design reviews.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback.
• Evaluate new infrastructure or cloud services for AI workloads.
• Manage and optimize AWS services for scalable AI infrastructure.
• Communicate outcomes and challenges to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Maintain data quality, privacy, and ethical AI development.
