Job summary

Zone & Company Software Consulting LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the technical delivery of our AI-enabled ERP-native platform for NetSuite users. This fully remote, globally distributed role focuses on scalable architecture for multi-entity consolidation and global tax compliance across NOAM, EMEA, and APAC.

You will mentor engineers, drive critical features, and align engineering work with business goals.

Qualifications

6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Experience leading complex projects in a globally distributed environment.
Strong judgment in verification and testing of high-consequence logic.
Exceptional communication and collaboration across time zones.

Responsibilities

Architect and deliver complex features across the Zone platform ensuring scalability and observability.
Lead AI-workflow integration to boost team throughput while maintaining quality.
Protect system integrity by making architecture decisions that reduce long-term cost.
Translate vague requirements into staged execution plans with reduced risk.
Develop automated validation frameworks aligned with US GAAP and IFRS logic.
Own outcomes and communicate business impact of technical choices to stakeholders.
Improve code quality through refactoring and higher review standards.
Anticipate bottlenecks and resolve architectural pressure points.
Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews and design guidance.
Drive OKRs and KPIs with accountability for delivery and timelines.
