Job summary

The UCLA Luskin Conference Center is seeking a dynamic Plateia Sales & Events Manager to drive private event sales for Plateia, the flagship Mediterranean-inspired restaurant and lounge inside the Luskin Center. You will manage end-to-end event execution and coordinate with operations.

Identify new business opportunities, present and negotiate pricing, and service a wide array of private dining and special events, ensuring revenue growth and outstanding dining experiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years catering or restaurant sales management experience.
• 2+ years hospitality group sales experience.
• Ability to close sales and negotiate high-value contracts.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, menu planning, and room set-ups.
• Strong analytical skills for marketing and sales plans.
• Accounting and math skills for cost estimates and proposals.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with standard business software and hospitality sales systems.
