Job summary

ThyssenKrupp Materials NA in Brook Park, OH, is seeking a Plate Saw Operator for the 1st shift to apply metal to customer orders and process material according to work orders. You will maintain equipment and the work area in a safe, clean condition while accurately entering information.

The role requires operating cranes and forklifts, setting up machinery, inspecting products, recording measurements, and contributing to lean and quality initiatives on the warehouse floor.

Qualifications

• Must be certified in the material handler position.
• Ability to read and write material orders and notes.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform basic math.
• Safety-minded with awareness of workplace hazards.

Responsibilities

• Apply metal to orders and process material per work orders.
• Operate cranes, forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Set up equipment to meet specifications and verify setup notes.
• Inspect products, record measurements and tag materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse floor and assist lean/quality activities.
