Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Experience in warehouse or metals industry preferred.
• Certified forklift and crane operation is required.
• Comfort with data entry and basic measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment such as cranes and forklifts (certification required).
• Pull, inspect, and verify product before processing.
• Set up and run machines based on setup notes and work orders.
• Ensure all processed material meets quality and measurement specifications.
• Accurately record inspection data and maintain material ID tags.
• Communicate order changes or clarifications with sales reps.
• Perform preventative maintenance and general equipment clean-up.
• Weigh, package, and label materials correctly.
• Identify, record, and segregate scrap or non-conforming material.
• Train others when needed and assist with lean/quality initiatives.
• Follow all safety protocols—hands-on role near heavy machinery.
