Job summary

RRD in Missouri is seeking a 1st shift Plate Making Operator to produce lithographic and flexographic plates from digital files. You will operate plate making equipment, review files, and prepare plates for press, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include imposition, color proof preparation, inventory maintenance, and training teammates in lean methods. Strong detail orientation and experience with Mac/PC design software are valuable in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• 1+ years of print or graphic design experience.
• Experience with Mac/PC graphic design software and file formats (pdf, tiff, eps).

Responsibilities

• Operate plate making equipment to produce lithographic and/or flexographic plates from digital files.
• Impose images and prepare plates for press using plate making, bending, tabbing, and sheering.
