Job summary

RRD is seeking a plate making operator to produce lithographic and/or flexographic plates from digital files in a production environment. You will manage plate making, image imposition, and basic maintenance while ensuring high-quality output and on-time delivery.

The role requires 1+ years in print or graphic design, familiarity with Mac/PC design tools, and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Strong attention to detail and collaboration with CSR and production teams are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of print or graphic design experience.
• Working with various graphic design and layout software on Mac and PC.
• Understanding digital file formats (pdf, tiff, eps) from Mac/PC.

Responsibilities

• Impose images and operate plate making equipment to prepare plates for press.
• Review plates for defects or errors.
• Perform basic maintenance on platemaking equipment and replenish materials.
• Prepare color proofs for customer review.
• Perform quality checks on finished plates before release to manufacturing.
