Job summary

McCLARIN Composites is seeking an experienced Welder for the Hanover, PA plant on the first shift. You will weld polypropylene fittings and other components onto polypropylene products such as storage tanks, delivering finished parts to customers.

You will operate butt fusion, electrofusion, or socket fusion methods, interpret drawings, and ensure welds meet structural and waterproof standards. Candidates should have 1–3 years of welding or plastic fabrication experience and strong communication

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED or equivalent industrial experience.
• 1-3 years of industrial welding or plastic fabrication experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to join plastic pipes and sheets using butt fusion, electrofusion, or socket fusion methods.
• Use hand-held plastic extruders and hot air guns to fill gaps, seam plastic panels, and create bonds.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, and work orders to fabricate plastic storage tanks, enclosures, and ductwork.
• Inspect welds for structural and waterproof integrity and compliance with standards.
• Maintain welding machines and tools; keep workspace clean and safe.
