Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking an experienced operator to keep precision tooling running smoothly in a fast-paced manufacturing setting in Ohio. You will perform mold setups, coordinate changeovers with production schedules, and monitor lines to safeguard output and quality.

You will use hand and power tools, follow written instructions, and maintain strict PPE and safety practices while contributing to continuous improvement and on-time production.

Qualifications

  • Injection molding experience.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and perform mold setups and changeovers based on the production schedule.
  • Prepare tooling and peripherals ahead of time; correct process problems per supervisor direction.
  • Own preventative maintenance on active tools: clean and grease molds; clean, inspect, and lubricate equipment and machinery.
  • Jump on troubleshooting calls; identify causes of mold performance issues and complete or assist with repairs while coordinating with impacted personnel.
  • Watch and operate lines as needed to safeguard output and quality.
  • Run quality checks on containers to confirm specs; record problems and any machinery adjustments.
  • Follow plant-specific job specifications and task lists without exception.
