The role involves direct customer visits, relationship management with current and potential customers, and close coordination with the Vinyl Division to reflect market activity. You will develop knowledge of customer activities and competitive dynamics while pursuing new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Four-year college graduate.
• 4+ years of outside sales experience.
• Sales experience in the Plastics/Chemical industry preferred but not mandated.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good presentation skills and organization habits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the budgeted volume of Sales and Revenue for the territory.
• Oversee the customer activities within the Sales territory; plan and schedule regular direct customer visits.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of customers, potential customers and competitive activities.
• Keep management and the Vinyl Division informed on market activity within the territory.
• Contact prospective new customers and continuously search for new business opportunities.
• Submit required internal paperwork (NAN’s, CQRF’s, SPR’s and Customer contracts).
• Submit weekly expense reports and sales call itineraries as required.
