Job summary

Nike Air Manufacturing Innovation in Beaverton, OR seeks a Sr. Maintenance Technician (N1) to maintain and repair plastics processing equipment across extrusion, thermoforming, and injection molding.

You will join a team focused on uptime, reliability, and rapid response to issues on a 24/7 production floor. The role requires hands-on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic expertise, with experience in PLCs, CMMS, and using diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Post high school technical/vocational training or related military training in industrial maintenance technology is required.
• Minimum 3 years in industrial/manufacturing maintenance, preferably plastics manufacturing.
• Experience with electrical safety, troubleshooting, and repair including PLC control systems (Siemens/Allen Bradley), 3-phase 480-volt AC, DC systems; replacement of drives, motors, pumps, heaters, switches and HMI panels.
• Experience using basic hand tools, machine shop equipment, precision measuring instruments, digital multimeters, cutting and welding equipment.
• Ability to read drawings for mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS; SAP preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift objects up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment to reduce downtime.
• Support four shifts with maintenance services in a fast-paced 24/7 facility.
• Repair or modify production equipment using electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic skills.
• Read and interpret documentation and drawings for systems.
• Coordinate with vendors, research problems, and order parts when needed.
