Job summary

Honda in Marysville, Ohio seeks an experienced Mold Maintenance Technician to ensure molds produce quality parts through preventative maintenance, maturation, repair, tuning and daily troubleshooting. This role requires flexibility for 2nd or 3rd shift with overtime as needed.

You will respond to downtime, monitor equipment, perform PM plans, and contribute to safety and COP of the workspace. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and hands-on mold maintenance experience, with CAD and MS

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 months experience in the mechanical/die mold maintenance field (including Co-op) preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CAD tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication with customers and teams.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes (assembly, paint, weld, stamping, plastics).

Responsibilities

• Work on daily activities as assigned by the Team Leader.
• Respond to equipment/mold downtime and recovery issues.
• Monitor equipment/mold for potential problems.
• Improve quality and running efficiency of mold/tooling.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance plans and activities.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic systems.
• Maintain COP of work area and tools.
• Follow safety policies and quality standards.
