Job summary

American Plastics in Ohio seeks a Maintenance Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair injection molding equipment. You will read electrical prints, diagnose hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, and perform preventive maintenance per a 12-hour shift schedule.

The role requires forklift/crane familiarity, with training provided as needed. The successful candidate will work on a 2/2/3 schedule across four 12-hour shifts, delivering 14 working days per month and a 3-day weekend every other

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in injection molding environments.
• Ability to read electrical prints and schematics.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and downtime reduction.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits on injection molding equipment.
• Execute lock out/tag out procedures and maintain equipment.
• Perform daily checks and preventative maintenance per schedule.
• Work with suppliers to identify root causes and implement permanent solutions.
