Torrey Holistics in Ohio seeks a Night Shift Plastics Injection Molding Process Specialist to start up runs, dial in parameters, verify first-article quality, and maintain part consistency through the night.

You will monitor presses, adjust temperature, pressure, and cooling to keep the process in spec, troubleshoot issues quickly, and hand off a stable, well-documented cell by dawn.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in plastic injection molding operations.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Proficiency with tool, die, and mold setups.
• Experience with Toshiba or Haitian molding equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate plastic injection molding presses for planned jobs.
• Continuously monitor production; adjust machine parameters to sustain quality and throughput.
• Control and stage materials to maintain uninterrupted flow through the molding process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve processing, equipment, and part-quality issues quickly and safely.
• Perform routine checks on machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment to prevent downtime.
• Adhere to documented quality procedures and all safety protocols throughout the shift.

Plastics Injection Molding Process Specialist Picture the start of your shift at 7:00 PM: you review the previous run, verify materials, and bring the next job online. You dial in process parameters, verify first-article quality, and keep a watchful eye on part consistency through the night. When something drifts, you know exactly which lever to pull—temperature, pressure, back pressure, or cooling—to get the process back in the window. By 7:00 AM, you hand off a stable, efficient cell with accurate documentation and zero safety incidents.

What Your Night Looks Like

• Set up and operate plastic injection molding presses for planned jobs.
• Continuously monitor production; adjust machine parameters to sustain quality and throughput.
• Control and stage materials to maintain uninterrupted flow through the molding process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve processing, equipment, and part-quality issues quickly and safely.

What You Bring

Compensation & Schedule

• $32–$36 per hour
• Full-time night shift, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Rotating pattern: three days on, followed by three to four days off
