A day in this role

Your shift starts at the molding cell, where you set up and run the injection molding press to produce plastic components. As parts come off the tool, you move seamlessly to finishing—trimming and deburring edges so every piece meets spec. When a customer calls for a specific look, you apply paint/finishes to match their preferences. Before anything leaves your station, you verify quality, then package and prepare orders for shipment.

What you bring

• Previous machine operator experience, with knowledge of plastic manufacturing processes
• Ability to use air tools and standard hand tools safely and effectively
• Comfort with basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Physical readiness to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Basic Microsoft Office skills and clear written/verbal communication
• Proven ability to follow detailed instructions, work independently, and collaborate with a team
• High school diploma/GED preferred and reliable transportation

• Hands-on experience in the plastics industry
