Design Molded Plastics is seeking an experienced night-shift operator to set up and run plastic injection molding presses. You will monitor process stability, adjust parameters, and ensure first-article quality while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
Expect a full-time night schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a three-on, three-to-four-off rotating pattern. You will document production details and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced molding facility.
Picture the start of your shift at 7:00 PM: you review the previous run, verify materials, and bring the next job online. You dial in process parameters, verify first-article quality, and keep a watchful eye on part consistency through the night. When something drifts, you know exactly which lever to pull-temperature, pressure, back pressure, or cooling-to get the process back in the window. By 7:00 AM, you hand off a stable, efficient cell with accurate documentation and zero safety incidents.
