You will monitor melt temperatures, pressures, bubble height, and line speed, perform maintenance tasks, and ensure GMP compliance. A high school diploma or GED is required; packaging experience and Vorne software familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 1 year experience in packaging industry (paper/plastics) or related.
• Experience with cast-film extrusion machines.
• Experience with production software (Vorne).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing production needs.

Responsibilities

• Set up extrusion lines producing bubble-wrap film from resin.
• Monitor machine output and adjust melt temperatures, pressures, bubble height and inflation.
• Troubleshoot and correct machine issues; report larger problems.
• Complete production data and quality reports accurately.
• Train and assist other extrusion operators on duties, downtime, setup times and quality.
