Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: packaging industry experience; 1 year extrusion machine experience; Vorne Production Software knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Set up extrusion lines producing bubble-wrap film from resin.
• Load resin, additives and blends into hoppers; verify material types and ratios.
• Monitor machine output and adjust melt temps, pressures, bubble height, cooling.
• Perform roll changes, die cleaning, screen and filter changes; maintain housekeeping.
• Complete production reports and adhere to safety, GMPs and quality procedures.
• Train and assist other operators and report issues to supervisors.
• Adhere to production schedule and suggest improvements to meet cost, quality and service goals.

Education

High school diploma or GED

1 year experience on cast-film extrusion machines

Experience with Production Software Vorne
