Job summary

Belden Inc. is seeking an experienced machine operator to operate and maintain plastic extrusion equipment on the 2nd shift in Carson, CA. Starting pay is $23 per hour plus a $0.50 shift differential.

You will read specifications, adjust processes to keep product in spec, set up auxiliary equipment, ensure safety, complete paperwork, and collaborate with the team to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret manufacturing specifications and shop orders.
• Ability to measure product attributes to spec.
• Experience with plastics or extrusion is preferred.
• Team player with safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain plastic extrusion equipment on 2nd shift.
• Set up and calibrate machinery as required.
• Safely perform work in the assigned area.
• Complete production paperwork accurately.
