Job summary

Goken America is seeking a mechanical engineer to support engineering design and development activities in Dublin, Ohio. The role involves leading design efforts, creating 3D models and 2D drawings, and collaborating across teams to innovate solutions for large-scale product programs.

The ideal candidate has a background in mechanical or automotive engineering, experience with Catia V5/V6, and familiarity with DFMEA and GD&T. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Education with Mechanical/Automotive specialization preferred.
• Experience with DFMEA and GD&T beneficial.
• Catia V5/V6 experience required for 3D modeling and 2D drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support engineering design for large scale product development.
• Perform design using 3D modeling software; create layouts and 2D drawings.
• Analyze and resolve complex problems independently or with guidance.
• Create part specifications and BOM; negotiate with suppliers.
• Perform cost analysis, strength calculations and material selection.
• Improve products and processes using best practices.
