Job summary

Goken, headquartered in Dublin, Ohio, seeks an engineer to support engineering design and development activities, leading and supporting large-scale product programs. You will investigate feasibility, create 3-D models, review layouts, and generate 2D drawings, collaborating across engineering teams and suppliers.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Engineering and 2–5 years of related experience, with CATIA V5 proficiency, DFM understanding, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2–5 years of related experience (or equivalent).
• Experience with 3-D modeling tools, CATIA V5 preferred.
• Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support engineering activities for large-scale product development programs.
• Analyze and resolve complex problems independently or with guidance.
• Create part specifications and BOMs.
• Negotiate with component units and suppliers.
• Perform cost analysis, strength calculations, and material selection.
• Apply best practices to improve products and processes.
• Seek ways to increase efficiency and reduce design costs.
• Travel to client sites as required.
