Job summary

SILON US is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the plastics and chemical industries. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships to expand market presence.

You will lead sales initiatives, collaborate with Marketing and Product teams, and represent the company at industry events and trade shows, requiring strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• MBA a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strategic thinker with ability to identify market opportunities and execute plans.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP (JDE Oracle ideal) and sales analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth in plastics compounds industry.
• Identify target markets and customer segments based on market research and competitive analysis.
• Generate leads, prospect clients, and establish relationships with decision-makers to drive sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Product Development to create value propositions and sales collateral.
• Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations to close deals.
• Maintain understanding of customer needs to tailor solutions and drive satisfaction and retention.
• Track sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build brand awareness.
