Job summary

Laborup is seeking Assembly Technicians for a large plastics operation. This hands-on role moves components through assembly, finishing, inspection, and packaging, using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and inline equipment.

Shifts include days or nights on rotating 12-hour schedules with full-time, direct-hire status and opportunities for advancement from the shop floor. Learn various stations and production tasks as you grow your skills.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical, hands-on production work during a 12-hour shift.
• Able to stand, bend, reach, lift and handle materials regularly.
• Comfortable using hand tools and production equipment.
• Strong attention to quality and safety.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Preferred: 1+ year manufacturing or assembly experience.

Responsibilities

• Production Assembly: Assemble components according to work instructions and standards.
• Tools & Equipment: Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, and in-line equipment.
• Quality Checks: Inspect components and finished products for defects and accuracy.
• Finishing & Packaging: Finish, label, wrap, strap, and package products.
• Material Handling: Load, unload, move, and organize components and finished products.
• Process Monitoring: Identify quality, production, or equipment issues.
• Production Documentation: Complete production and quality records.
• Cross-Training: Rotate across multiple assembly stations.
