Laborup is hiring Assembly Technicians for a large plastics manufacturing operation. This hands-on production role moves components through assembly, finishing, inspection and packaging, with options for day or night shifts and 12-hour schedules.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical, hands-on production work throughout a 12-hour shift.
• Stand, bend, reach, lift, and handle materials regularly.
• Comfortable using hand tools and production equipment.
• Strong attention to quality and safety.
• Follow written work instructions and standardized production processes.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Production Assembly: Assemble manufactured components according to established work instructions and production standards.
• Tools & Equipment: Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, and in-line assembly equipment to complete production tasks.
• Quality Checks: Inspect components and finished products for defects, accuracy, and overall quality.
• Finishing & Packaging: Complete finishing, labeling, wrapping, strapping, packaging, and related downstream production activities.
• Material Handling: Load, unload, move, and organize components and finished products throughout the assembly process.
• Process Monitoring: Identify quality, production, or equipment issues that could create downtime or scrap.
• Production Documentation: Complete required production and quality records accurately.
• Cross-Training: Learn and rotate across multiple assembly stations as production needs change and your skills develop.
