Job summary

Laborup is hiring Assembly Technicians for a large plastics manufacturing operation in New York. This hands-on role covers assembling components, quality checks, and preparing finished products for the next stage.

You will rotate across multiple stations, using hand and pneumatic tools and inline equipment to complete production tasks. The schedule is 12-hour, with day or night options, offering built-in overtime, advancement from the shop floor, and opportunities to move into more senior

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical, hands-on production work during 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, lift, and handle materials.
• Comfortable using hand tools and production equipment.
• Strong attention to quality and safety.
• Follow written work instructions and standardized processes.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Produce assemblies per work instructions and standards.
• Use hand and pneumatic tools and inline equipment.
• Inspect components and finished products for defects.
• Finish, label, wrap, pack, and downstream tasks.
• Move and organize components and finished products.
• Monitor for quality, downtime, or equipment issues.
• Record production and quality data.
• Rotate across multiple assembly stations.
