The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full-time Patient Services Specialist for the Plastic Surgery East Clinic in NE Portland. You will work with a collaborative team of clinicians to deliver high-value patient experiences and coordinate care efficiently.

This role emphasizes strong customer service, effective communication, and attendance. Prior medical office exposure and EMR proficiency are valued assets in supporting seamless patient journeys.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of work experience, preferably in a medical office.
• EMR experience strongly preferred; Epic experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills and experience are preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask.
• Familiarity with insurance and referral processes.
• Excellent attendance and work ethic.
• Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.
• A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Check in and out new/established patients.
• Manage inbound referrals and scheduling patient appointments.
• Answer and direct calls on a multi-line phone system.
• Obtain and complete insurance information.
• Handle incoming cosmetic patient inquiries and ensure timely scheduling.
• Perform additional administrative and support tasks as needed.
